Curricula Overview


Greatfulness® (Yellow Belt) is the first in a series of self-leadership and wellness programs for young people. It is designed for young people aged between 10-12 years. The Yellow Belt program combines the latest ideas & research in mindfulness meditation, positive psychology and building resilience in young people. Over the course of the program the students will learn to gain greater emotional regulation, increase their creativity and it we will also equip them with some practical tools to help them face any future challenges. There is a focus on training the mind as well techniques to increase confidence and build true self-esteem. Throughout the 6 weeks, the students will learn to ‘BE YOUR OWN HERO’.

The six lessons include – (each lesson runs for approximately 1 hour)

1) Greatful®– Knowing your values, understanding yourself and taking the first steps towards becoming your best.
2) Greatlessness® – Recognising that we all have challenges and learning how to bounce back.
3) Greatitude® Growing in confidence and recognising all the good in our lives
4) Creatitude® – Learning through failure & investigating creative thinking
5) Communigreat® – Understanding body language and knowing how to put your best self forward
6) Realflection®– Making time for yourself and celebrating your achievements.
